It's hard to think "Gameboy" and not think of Pokémon ya know?

I just recently got another Nintendo DS (my first one got stolen.)
And with it I started playing Pokémon Ruby for the GBA, realizing I had no clue where I was. I decided to start over.
And 10 hours into the game with four battlers, all around level 32, and one level 2 Poochenya who is only with me because he know's Rock Smash. I can't help but be satisfied with the games... despite the lighthearted adventure the games offer; I still find that I can sit down and enjoy the game, even at the age of 18 XD

I suppose there is always that inner child looking to get out some way or another.
While digging around my room I also found my copy of Pokémon Gold, in which I was playing with only two Pokémon. Ha ha I was just fresh into Kanto when I stopped as well.

Anyway, who here remembers playing? And who still plays?
Favorite Pokémon? Anything?

i personally tried a couple, but my lil' sister is the total fan.

her wave for pokemon was a thad bit slower than the rest of ya'll hahaha

she's all out in getting pokemon cards and trying to hardcore their more recent games (nds)

OH MY DUDE!!!! i remember Pokemon Sapphire was my very first pokemon game. eVER. it was quite fun, fun as in total addiction. i hav seriously completed all 200 pokemon of the Sapphire version. also level 100 Metagross, Salamence, Rayquaza, and others. i also put in some FireRed pokemon into ther. till my bro erased the file. then i jus played the FireRed version. 2 gameboy SPs come in handy. XD. thas right. ALL THE STARTERS XD. BAWAHAHAHAHA. then the Diamond/Pearl version came out for the DS. i saw all the pokemon, looked kinda "not straight". thas when i decided to quit. for life.

SNORLAX OWNS

My first Pokemon game ever was Pokemon Yellow. Pikachus are awesome. I beat the game 3 times, because of my brother erasing my games. >_<"

yea pokemon are great
my first one was Pokemon Blue and i got a game from each generation so far
you would think they would run out of ideas but they just keep pumping out mutated animals and raking it the cash that comes with it

oh and Blastoise since it Squirtle was my very first one and he just looks cool, and Flareon cause its so fluffy

shamefully, i haven't beat any of them LOL

i was playing and playing and playing, and my thoughts of it (like all other games) is how it never ends LOL. I guess w/ you guys beating it multiples of times, there are ends to pokemon games XDD
